Voice of the South is a powerful documentary that explores the impactful work of The McKenzie Project, a nonprofit organization providing services and resources for Black trans and gender non-conforming individuals across South Florida. The film highlights the challenges faced by this community and the incredible support and advocacy provided by The McKenzie Project. Voice of the South recently won Best Film at the FilmGate Film Festival for their February “Social Justice” category.
