VOICE MOVEMENT IMMERSIONAn Embodied Voice Practice
Voice Movement Immersion is an embodied voice methodology exploring how movement, breath and sound unlock presence, creativity and authentic expression, developed by vocalist and Certified Voice Movement Therapist, Randolph Matthews. Through guided exercises and collaborative exploration, participants discover how voice reflects internal states and how it can be consciously developed to support creative practice, communication and embodied presence. Participants explore the relationship between body, breath and voice through movement practices, improvisational sound exercises and collective vocal exploration.
Who This Is For
This weekend workshop is open to anyone curious about exploring the relationship between voice, movement and embodied expression. No previous vocal or musical experience is needed. The workshop may be of particular interest to:
• artists and performers working with voice or presence
• dancers and movement practitioners exploring vocal expression
• voice practitioners and vocal improvisers
• therapists and somatic practitioners working with the body and breath
• facilitators and educators interested in embodied communication
• anyone curious to explore their voice as a pathway to creativity, connection and self-expression
Participants are not required to have vocal training—only a willingness to explore voice as a tool for presence, creativity and human connection.
