IV's & Meds update
Host: Chrissy Owens, CPM, LM
Info: We will dig deeper into our new formulary, practice IV starts, and specific mediations as IV push. Some live models may be on hand. If not, we will have fake arms and other items for practice and simulation. There should be time to work through a couple of complex scenarios if you'd like. THERE ARE SOME CEU's OFFERED for this (4-8 hours) with an additional online portion and post-tests. Otherwise, the 2 hours can be Category 2 CEU's.

Impact of Trauma Exposure on Professionals
Info: This training will help participants identify symptoms and warning signs of traumatic stress as well as learn the differences between three common trauma exposure responses: secondary traumatic stress, compassion fatigue, and burnout. We will discuss strategies for responding to trauma exposure and provide resources that professionals can use to mitigate the impact of trauma exposure and improve wellness.
This program is approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Approval 886921848-9702) for 1.5 continuing education contact hours.
