“Curreña” es una historia basada en la joven Beatriz quien es forzada a un matrimonio por sus padres, así como acostumbran las tradiciones en algunas partes de Mexico. Beatriz ya teniendo una vida secreta es forzada en decidir entre sus padres y tradiciones oh arriesgar su vida al desobedecer. Esta historia toma lugar en Cruz grande Guerrero con Sones, Gustos y Chilenas de la Costa Chica de Guerrero y Oaxaca.
“Curreña” is the story of young Beatriz being forced into marriage by her parents as traditions are accustomed in some parts of Mexico. Beatriz (having already a secret life) is forced into choosing between her parents and traditions or risking her life and disobeying.
This story takes place in Cruz Grande Guerrero with Sones, Gustos and Chilenas from the Costa Chica of Guerrero and Oaxaca.
