About this Event
The ever-popular Viva Vallenato Cumbia Band returns to the Englewood Public Library on Sunday, June 28 at 7 p.m. outside on the library’s front plaza. Please bring a chair or blanket. In case of rain, the concert will be indoors on the main floor. This concert is sponsored by The Friends of the Englewood Library.
The concert is free and open to the public, and no reservation is necessary, but be ready to have a joyous time! If the reservation list on Eventbrite is full, do not worry...just come on down and have fun!
The Viva Vallenato Cumbia Band performs the electrifying folk music of Colombia, South America. The rhythms will make you dance, and the accordion will sing to your soul! These songs contain the cultural memory of a people with roots in Africa, Native America and Europe.
