About this Event
Adults ages 55+ are invited to join us for an immersive experience in the galleries, followed by an art-making activity. This month, we will highlight our permanent collection exhibition Nuestras Historias: Stories of Mexican Identity from the Permanent Collection. In this workshop, we will take inspiration from the artwork made by the Wixárika community and create jewelry using beads.
Coffee and treats will be provided from local establishments. This program is free, but registration is required. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].

Los adultos mayores de 55 años están invitados a unirse a nosotros para una experiencia inmersiva en las galerías, seguida de una actividad artística. Este mes, destacaremos la exposición de nuestra colección permanente, Nuestras Historias: Historias de Identidad Mexicana de la Colección Permanente. En este taller, nos inspiramos en las obras de arte de la comunidad wixárika y crearemos joyería con cuentas.
