Come join the ASL Club of the Community College of Baltimore County for a Visual-Gestural Communication (VGC) Workshop presented by Carla Masi. Carla is a seasoned ASL professor, Deaf mentor, and private tutor well-versed in Visual-Gestural Communication.
"Visual-Gestural Communication is a truly unique volume in non-language communication devoted to the study of universal gestures, facial expressions, body language, and pantomime (Willy Conley, author of Visual-Gestural Communication)". During the workshop, you will learn various gesturing techniques to communicate without signs.
The workshop will be conducted in ASL with English interpretation and is intended to further the language skills of ASL users of all levels. This event has limited seating and is open to the public. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, masks are required for all participants, clear masks are preferred if available.
