About this Event
Visual Diary Workshop
Would you like to develop a regular journaling practice that is flexible, creative, and unique to you? Keeping a visual diary is both a useful personal practice, and a valuable tool for artists to develop their own voice, style, and techniques. You don’t have to know how to draw, you can work in any medium, and it can be as expansive or as minimal as your life requires.
In this workshop we’ll discuss what makes a visual diary, look at examples, and talk about ideas for making your own, and then you’ll have time to experiment. Paper and drawing materials will be provided, but feel free to bring anything of your own that you’re accustomed to working with - sketchbook, tablet, other materials.
All ages welcome.
