About this Event
A behind the scenes tour of Hayle Plants in the morning, looking at plant production and the extensive retail plant selection. A wide range of plants are grown here including succulents, hedging plants, tender species, hardy shrubs and the exotic.
The afternoon visit is to Trelan, near St Ives. A garden in a distinct micro climate with a definite tropical ambience. There’s a crystal clear swimming pond surrounded by lush vegetation, an Italianate sunken garden with a lemon tree centre stage, a fern garden, endless echinus and even an echium root sculpture. A relaxing garden to wander and enjoy more delights around every corner.
Dogs on short leads.
