The City of Granbury Convention & Visitors Bureau – Visit Granbury – will celebrate National Travel and Tourism Week (NTTW), May 3–9, 2026, by hosting its annual Friends of Tourism Celebration Brunch on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the David Southern Lake Granbury Conference Center.This annual event recognizes the vital role tourism plays in
Granbury’s economy while celebrating the partners, stakeholders,
and community members who contribute to the city’s continued
success as a premier destination.
The brunch will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and is
free to attend with RSVP. Seating is limited. Tourism partners,
local businesses, community leaders, and residents are invited to
attend.
This year’s program will feature Madeline Phillips from the
Office of the Governor, Economic Development & Tourism, as
the keynote speaker. During the event, Visit Granbury will also be
formally recognized as a Tourism Friendly Texas Community,
a prestigious statewide designation highlighting Visit Granbury’s
commitment to showcasing Granbury as a premier destination,
championing the visitor economy, supporting local businesses and elevating Granbury on a state and national stage.
