Welcome to Aphrodite's Visionary Reflections workshop. A unique and creative combination of your favourite vision board workshop integrated into our popular collage self portrait sessions. This is one creative event not to be missed!Collage is by far my favourite workshop to help everyone, no matter their experience to unleash full creative expression and break through self-doubt and limiting beliefs around art. You will be surprised by what you can achieve with this art form!
Visionary Reflections is an inspired, laid-back, and very fun collage self-portrait workshop where we include a black and white printed photo of ourselves to create a truly vibrant and expressive self-portrait. In this session we look forward, dream, reflect and celebrate through the art of collage.
Dropping into absolute creative flow as we rummage and sort through the thousands of images I have collected over the years of running my collage workshops. You’ll have bizarre vintage German pattern magazines, Children's story books, boujee magazines, vintage sheet music, & dress patterns, I have bespoke gift wrapping paper, I have hundreds of images I have collected and printed from Pinterest, I have vinyl record covers, I have thick gardening encyclopedias, stamps, manifestation card decks, and god knows what else to use as inspiration.
Slowly our collage creations will come to life. At this point, we will include (if we wish) the printed photos and images that you have sent me prior to class creating a true and powerful self-portrait. By including these photos of yourself in the vision board artwork is an incredibly powerful act of visualization and manifestation. This is what makes this workshop truly magic! I also recommend bringing anything and everything you might have at home that you might like to include in your artwork.
This workshop will run for 2.5 - 3 hours. We will have a snack break somewhere in the middle with drinks and some delicious goodies to keep our spirits high.
