Join jewelry designer Douriean Fletcher and holistic health practitioner Samantha Wakefield for Vision & Voices, a multidisciplinary workshop presented in conjunction with Douriean Fletcher: Jewelry of the Afrofuture. Designed for women, this program centers female experiences and perspectives.Participants will be guided through grounding reflection and invited to explore personal vision through the contemplative practice of beading within a supportive group setting. Each beaded work becomes part of an evolving Vision & Voices collection exhibited in cultural spaces and museums across the country, honoring and elevating the insight of historically marginalized visionaries. The experience offers participants an opportunity to contribute to a growing national archive of creative expression while reconnecting with clarity, imagination, and collective power.
