VIRYA WORKSHOP: Rest, rebirth and lucid dreaming

When was the last time you truly rested? When you fully allowed the moment to be what it was, without judging, planning or evaluating?
Rest is deeply misunderstood. We think distraction is rest. When we overload our brains with phone-scrolling or Netflix-binging, we’re not resting. We’re distracting ourselves.
Most men today live in a constant state of low-grade exhaustion. Wired, driven, but never fully recovered. This workshop is an invitation to break that cycle.
Rest is not sleep or inactivity. True rest is a state of consciousness, an alteration of brainwaves and a calibration of the nervous system. In essence, it is a state of open potential from which anything is possible. Modern neuroscience calls this state NSDR, while yogic traditions refer to it as nidra.
Rest is powerful. 30 minutes of actual, pure and true rest resets the entire body, mind and nervous system. It is a biochemical rebirth. Rest is a skill we can learn. When we master it, all other dimensions of our life flow freer.
The quality of everything we do, from muscle growth to concentration and the ability to pursue something long-term are all functions of our ability to rest. If we cannot rest properly, we cannot do anything well. Rest is the basis on which we achieve greatness.
The yogic traditions have for thousands of years understood this, and have developed powerful practices of radical rest, such as the nyasa and nidra of the yogic school. These practices use rest as a basis of liberation.
Non sleeping deep rest NSDR, the scientific term for these practices, has recently been studied as one of the most effective tools we know for self-healing and self-development.
The ability to enter the NSDR state throughout the day also gives you access to lucid dreaming, increases anabolism and metabolism, enhances memory and concentration, and decreases the need for sleep.
At this event, you will learn how to enter nidra, or NSDR directly from the waking state. You will receive a recording after attendance you can use in your daily life. You will also learn extremely quick, simple techniques for triggering rest, for times you feel overloaded.
Additionally, you will learn how to use this technique to trigger lucid dreaming directly from the waking state, a tantric practice known as dream yoga.
You will also experience a kundalini activation at the end of the workshop. This is a process whereby your life-force is awakened, and begins to move through your being. It is an experience whereby you connect to the purest and truest part of yourself, beyond all experience, memory and pattern.
What you will gain from attending:
- Deep nervous system recovery and reduced stress
- Hands-on, simple tools to break stress-cycles.
- Direct teaching on how to use rest as a super-power.
- Lucid-dreaming techniques.
- A deep understanding of the connection between brain-regions, brain-waves, the nervous system, meditation and potential.
