About this Event
The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania offers Scouts the opportunity to earn the merit badge in Railroading. Learn through the use of historic images and artifacts, model trains, and virtual tours!
The program runs from 9 AM to 12 PM. All requirements except for the "At Home Requirement" are fulfilled on the day of the workshop. There are no prerequisites.
After the virtual course, Scouts will be asked to complete the final, "At Home Requirement". Please check the document on the Online Event Page for more details. This requirement is listed in the BSA Railroading Merit Badge Handbook and cannot be completed virtually.
Fillable blue cards may be signed by your Scoutmaster prior to the program. A link to the Fillable Blue Card is on the Online Event page.
Scouts must be accompanied by an adult at all times, as per BSA guidelines. Every effort is made to adhere to the schedule, so please arrive on time in the virtual room. Space is limited. The workshop is capped at 30 scouts and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
No memberships, discounts and/or coupons apply to fees for the workshop. Registration is required and is guaranteed when payment is received. No refunds.
