Join Victoria Wyeth online as she shares her uniquely personal perspectives on the art of her grandfather, artist Andrew Wyeth (1917-2009). Victoria’s January program will focus on Andrew Wyeth’s development as an artist, starting with early work in oil, created under the direction of his father, artist N. C. Wyeth. Victoria will also discuss young Andrew’s loosely-painted and colorful Maine watercolors that led critics to compare his work to that of Winslow Homer, and the artist’s first experiments with egg tempera.
