Breastfeeding Class for Doula Certification
In this three hour breastfeeding class you will learn the basics of breastfeeding to help you better support your doula clients with breastfeeding after birth and in the early postpartum weeks. This class is taught by a Alison Spath, IBCLC, CD(DONA). Alison has been an active doula in our community since 2014, teaches BBC's Introduction to Breastfeeding class for expecting families, facilitates our weekly breastfeeding support group, Breastfeeding Cafe and offers private lactation consults to families in the Rochester community.
This three hour class meets the lactation education requirements for DONA certification. You will received a certificate to use toward your Birth and/or Postpartum Doula certification through DONA International at the conclusion class.
