Virginia is for Mothers: A Beyond the Blues Experience...Movie Screening of "More than Blue"
Please join Postpartum Support Virginia (PSVa) and the 757 Chapter of Chamber of Mothers, in partnership with the United Jewish Federation of Tidewater's PJ Library, for a screening of the documentary More Than Blue. This screening is part of a series of events called Virginia Is for Mothers: A Beyond the Blues Experience being hosted by PSVa and their partners across the Commonwealth throughout the summer to raise awareness for postpartum depression.
This incredible documentary shares real stories of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders from the individuals and families who have experienced them. All those who love, support, and care for women, mothers, and birthing individuals are welcome to help raise awareness, reduce stigma, and improve birth outcomes. There will be raffle prizes and a short panel discussion following the film. Light refreshments will be served.
All names of ticketholders must be provided during registration. If you need to change the name of an attendee, this must be done in advance for security purposes. Please do so on Eventbrite. If you have any issues, email [email protected].
*** Please note, this documentary discusses very serious mental health topics including suicidal ideation and psychosis. Please prioritize your own mental health when considering attendance. ***
