The public is invited to a presentation by History Associates Incorporated (HAI) on the new interpretive plan for the Francis Land House, Lynnhaven House, and Thoroughgood House on Thursday, Sep. 15, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Miller Studio Theatre inside the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, 201 Market Street. There is no requirement to RSVP in advance, but if you have any questions about the meeting, please email [email protected] or call 757-385-5100.
HAI worked with the Virginia Beach History Museums to develop a new interpretive plan for the three historic homes operated by the City of Virginia Beach. HAI engaged with Virginia Beach residents, historical experts, and stakeholders to gather feedback, including how guests currently interact with the historic homes, what can be done to enhance the guest experience and create meaningful educational and community programming for the future.
