About this Event
Join 52 Hike Challenge Virginia for a 2.6 mile loop hike on White Oak Trail through Newport News Park. This scenic reservoir loop winds through shaded forest, offering varied Warwick River vistas. The route also passes through a picturesque marsh section over boardwalks and bridges.
When: Saturday, April 25th, 2025 at 9:30 am. We will meet outside the Newport News Park Discovery Center for introductions and giveaways.
Skill Level: Easy 2.6 miles with 59 feet of elevation gain.The trail follows paved and gravel paths. Some sections can get muddy and sandy.
Bring your own snacks and drinks and dress for the weather. As always, please pack your 10 essentials for safety reasons!

Parking: There is parking both at the Discovery Center and along Constitution Way. Parking is free.
