Come celebrate Fat Tuesday with a 5 course Mardi Gras themed meal. Tickets cost $80 and $30 of every ticket goes to Lakeshore Youth Advocacy Center. The menu is:Soup: Smoked Corn and Lump Crab Bisque with onion, celery, carrots, smoked sweet corn, lump blue crab in a cream base with creole seasonings.
Salad: Mardi Gras Salad made with the colors of Mardi Gras, gold, green, and purple. A base of green baby spinach with red onion, roasted golden beets and purple potato, and golden raisins, with a smoked bacon and creole mustard vinaigrette.
Pre-Entree: Boudin Balls made with a smoked mixture of pork and chicken livers, mixed with rice and seasonings then breaded and fried. Served with a remoulade sauce made with smoked paprika.
Entree: Chicken and Sausage Gumbo made with smoked chicken and smoked house made andouille sausage in a rich base made with onions, green peppers, celery and garlic. Served over white rice.
Dessert: Bananas Foster made with fresh bananas, a smoked salted caramel sauce, rum and banana liqueur served over ice cream.
