THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MUSIC FOR VIOLIN & GUITAR
Info: The concert offers a refined dialogue between the brilliance of the violin and the intimacy of the guitar, transforming the classics into an evocative chamber experience. The transposition of Vivaldi's works shines with technical agility, keeping the baroque energy intact despite the reduced number of musicians. Paradisi and Rossini allow us to encounter the panache of the eighteenth century. Rossini's operatic irony finds a new elegant guise, where the guitar acts as a miniature orchestra. Ferdinand Rebay's work is beautiful: a true strong point, his original compositions take full advantage of the idiom of both instruments, creating lyrical and late-romantic atmospheres. The performance cleverly balances virtuosity and introspection, doing justice to an often underestimated instrumental combination.
