Firstly, prepare to be swept away by VIOLET CRY, a soulful/pop melodic duo from Cheshire. Singer/songwriter Diane Wye brings her 'mesmerising' vocals and a wealth of experience from dance, theatre, and music, exploring relatable themes such as 'estrangement' and 'partnership breakdown' through her thought-provoking lyrics. Guitarist and composer Ian Wilson masterfully crafts atmospheric soundscapes using guitar and keyboards, creating an unforgettable journey that perfectly complements Diane's poignant storytelling.
Headlining the evening is the incredible MACY O AND THE SILVERLINKS a high-energy band fronted by Macy O who has been making waves over the last few years. From Macy's debut single 'Thank them' (dedicated to the NHS) to her popular dance track 'I'm Your High' which boasts over 48,000 streams, Macy's talent is undeniable. She's graced stages at the legendary Cavern Club, numerous festivals, and BBC Introducing, even winning a young songwriter competition with her track 'Love Rampage'. Expect a diverse, emotional, and captivating performance across various genres and eras, all from her recently released debut album 'Journeys'.

VIOLET CRY
Violet Cry is a Cheshire duo sharing original, soulful/pop melodic music for our times.
Singer/songwriter Diane Wye brings her long and varied career in dance, theatre and music to reflect familiar shared themes such as ‘estrangement’ in ‘The Lion’s Cry’, or partnership break down, in ‘Love Has Lost it’s Way’. The haunting ‘Havant’, describes an emotional encounter between a brother and sister. Her vocals were recently described as ‘mesmerising’.
Guitarist and composer Ian Wilson is a multi-talented instrumentalist who has worked professionally with a number of bands throughout the UK. Using guitar and keyboards, Ian creates an atmospheric journey to complement Diane’s thought provoking lyrics that leaves you dreaming about the important moments in life.
Together their sound and stage presence creates the perfect setting for an enjoyable and memorable sound scape.

MACY O AND THE SILVERLINKS
Hello, I’m Macy O and I’m a singer songwriter. I have been singing all my life, starting off with musical theatre, but then writing my original material since 2020. My first single ‘Thank them’, dedicated to the NHS, marked the beginning of my journey as an artist. In 2022 I wrote ‘I’m Your High’, a popular dance track (which has now accumulated 48,000 streams). I started gigging in 2022 and have performed at various venues across the UK including the cavern club. I have also performed at many festivals and on BBC introducing stages. In 2023, my song ‘love rampage’ managed to win me a young songwriter competition. I try my best to be a high energy performer, performing many genres including pop, classical, Motown, dance and ballads. I also cover a large period of time ranging from the 1940’s to now. In 2023, I released my debut album ‘journeys’ on all streaming platforms. Each song encapsulated something I had experienced, and I aimed to make it emotional and something the listener could relate to. Music is a passion of mine and always will be and I aim to make that clear in my performances.
