About this Event
Are you interested in cyberpunk? Shakespeare? Indie filmmaking? Supporting the arts? Free food, hanging out, watching movies, and having a good time?
Then come to the VSME Fundraiser!
We're raising money to support the creation of the original indie film "Violent Sorrow, Modern Ecstasy" (VSME), directed by Theo Holt, a Chapel Hill native and current student in USC film school's graduate program.
VSME is set 100 years in the future, when a doctor must choose between saving his own life or saving Los Angeles from a murderous dictator.
Support this film if, in a world that often seems wrong, you still have hope.
If you can't make the event, but still want to support us remotely, please consider donating to the film at: seedandspark.com/fund/violent-sorrow-modern-ecstasy
Any amount makes a world of difference.
The event will run for two hours. At 7, there will be a brief presentation from the director about the film, followed by a screening of some original work, with time for discussion afterwards! Food and beverages will be provided.
