About this Event
Lindsey is a Los Angeles-based studio photographer specializing in surrealist portraiture. For this two-day activation at the Sigma pop-up in NYC, she invites attendees to expand image-making beyond the camera—blending technique, intuition, and storytelling through hands-on shooting and genuine conversation. By pairing guided practice with thoughtful Q&A, the program offers both creative inspiration and practical, in-the-moment learning while deepening connection with Sigma’s design-led tools in an immersive, collaborative setting.
Day 1 focuses on creative shooting. Lindsey begins with a short talk on her process, followed by an extended Q&A, then one-on-one time in the pop-up where registered guests can shoot with Sigma lenses—including Lindsey’s favorites, the 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm—and receive real-time guidance from her, and Sigma experts.
Day 2 features Lindsey at work, spotlighting her signature vintage approach—guiding participants through character-driven imagery and classic, film-inspired aesthetics using Sigma gear. The workshop is interactive, with space for questions throughout as Lindsey shares her creative decisions in real time and invites participants into her process.
Each day stands on its own; guests who attend only one day will still leave with a complete, valuable learning experience. Attending both creates a clear progression—from portrait techniques and workflow on Day 1 to applying that foundation through vintage styling and storytelling on Day 2.
Registration required. Limited space.
