You may have caught a baseball game or two at McDonald Commons this past season, but you're not going to want to miss this one! On Saturday, April 25 at 4 PM, Madeira Parks and Recreation will host the Cincinnati Vintage Base Ball Club featuring the 1869 Cincinnati Red Stockings and Cincinnati Buckeyes, recreating the sport of base ball as it was played in 1869. Burgers, beer, popcorn, concessions and a great game of ball, complete with announcers and the way it used to be played, will greet all those at the park. Bring the whole family out to watch one of the oldest professional sports as the baseball season is just starting!Madeira Youth Baseball will also be hosting various activities to help kick off the spring season including open to all Wiffleball and a Home Run Derby.
A shuttle will run from Sellman Park to McDonald Commons to assist with parking from 2pm-7:30pm.
It's guaranteed to be a good time!
