About Vinita:

Vinita “Vini” Hazari is a New York–based dancer and choreographer known for her dynamic blend of Bollywood, Semi-Classical, and Bolly Jazz Funk styles. With a strong foundation in Kathak over a decade of teaching experience, she brings both classical depth and contemporary flair to her work. She has also trained in jazz funk, hip-hop, ballet, and contemporary, making her choreography versatile and globally influenced. Before moving to the U.S., Vini spent five years performing and teaching with the Shiamak Davar Institute, further shaping her Bollywood technique. In New York and New Jersey, she teaches open-level classes, creates concept-driven dance videos, and choreographs for weddings and private clients. Her artistic projects often highlight cultural identity and social themes—one of her most notable pieces features a Kathak-inspired duet with the animated character Olaf, exploring representation in the arts. Vini continues to inspire dancers of all backgrounds through her expressive storytelling, technical finesse, and community-focused approach to dance
