Dyeing fabric with plants is fun and you probably live within a block of something growing that you can dye with. Marion has dyed with jewelweed, marigolds, tree bark and with goldenrod; all of which were grown in her back yard. This is Marion’s fourth year of teaching this class at VINES, and she says the most interesting part is the people you meet. Participants will help create a dye during this workshop, and leave with the supplies and knowledge to complete a dying project at home.This workshop is FREE and open to the public. A suggested donation of $5-$10 is appreciated.
