VINCE FREEMANHaving won Two UK Indy Awards, appeared on BBC's The Voice, Vince's future was stopped in its tracks when crippling spinal injuries struck an emerging career. After living for years with increasing back pain Vince collapsed at home and was unable to walk. He was taken to hospital and after examination told that he had an osteo-degenerative condition at the base of his spine, compression and two severely prolapsed discs. The resulting operation involving two discectomy's and a laminectomy spelled the start of six year long battle to recover.

Vince had to hire someone to carry his equipment and drive just to continue performing. Even during these years of constant pain, he still managed to write and perform on hit singles. After recovering from years of chronic pain, the pandemic stopped him in his tracks for a second time. Rather than accepting his fate he set about defying the odds once again. He started a mobile coffee business, 'Coffee Rocks' serving drinks at festivals to pay his families bills, and began writing his career defining album.
The album was curated by Richard Holley (Newton Faulkner), produced by Paul Visser AKA 'Goldcrush' and supervised by Hugh Goldsmith (Take That/Blue). Scars Ghosts & Glory is due for release March 2024 on Kinetic Records/AWAL.
