🌿 Every Month: Clear the Clutter, Share the Love at the Villa Drop & Swap! 🌿In 2026, Villa is switching to monthly Community Drop & Swap gatherings!
We know how quickly little ones outgrow their clothes and how fast family needs change. This is a recurring chance to pass on what you no longer need and pick up essentials for your family for free.
📍 Where: Villa Community Hub, Dumfries, VA 🗓️ When: The 2nd Thursday of every month
⏰ Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
✅ Items We LOVE to Receive:
- Gently used clothes & shoes (all ages/sizes)
- Breastfeeding supplies
- Unopened hygiene items and toiletries
- Diapers and wipes
- Shelf-stable food (including baby food and unexpired formula)
⚠️ A Special Request:
To keep these events sustainable, we need to focus on family essentials and cannot accept or allow the following items at the event:
- broken, stained, or expired items.
- household items
- large/bulky items
- toys
⭐️Why it matters:
Because we have limited space and volunteers, unapproved items left at the Hub create a significant disposal cost and logistical burden for Villa. By sticking to the "Yes" list, you ensure our resources go exactly where they belong: supporting mamas and their families!
