Although the Viking Lounge was established in 1972, Jon Nelson acquired it in 1980, and this February, the Viking Lounge will commemorate its 45th anniversary under the continuous stewardship of the same family. Following Jon's passing over 20 years ago, Yvonne and Renee have successfully maintained the establishment's prosperity, with four generations of the family contributing to its operations. Throughout its history, the Viking Lounge has undergone transformations while remaining faithful to Jon's original vision, taking pride in its reputation as a local gathering place and “dive bar” where patrons can unwind with friends and family, enjoying good food, drinks, and great times. The Viking Lounge features karaoke four nights a week, pool, darts, games, and a full-size shuffleboard table. Our customers consistently praise our brick oven pizzas, crafted with handmade dough, as well as our tenderloins, burgers, and other menu items.
