Vigil this Wednesday 6 May, 5-6pm at Parliament House Adelaide/Tarndanya. Note the date change: due to a scheduling conflict, we have moved our vigil up a week to prevent cancellation. We continue to stand against genocide and ethnic cleansing in Palestine and Lebanon, and demand safe passage for humanitarian aid and the safe release of the Flotilla activists.
Wear black, bring your Lebanese and Palestinian flags and keffiyehs and a (fake) candle in solidarity if you can. This is a silent event (no speeches/drums/chanting).
All are very welcome, keeping in mind that we are a female-led movement with feminist values and as such no sexist or misogynistic behaviour is tolerated at our events. No racist, antisemitic, anti-Islam, anti-Palestine, anti-Lebanon, anti-Iran, or otherwise violent or hateful rhetoric/material will be tolerated.
