Vienna Bicycle Design Meets Milan: VELLO Ride & Meet the Designers
Experience Milan Design Week on two wheels and explore the city’s vibrant design scene with us on a guided VELLO bike tour through the Fuorisalone.
Milan Design Week is one of the most exciting moments of the year for the global design community. Hop on a VELLO bike and discover the city in a dynamic and flexible way, visiting a curated selection of pop-up exhibitions, installations, and hidden design spots across Milan.
Start: Tuesday, April 21, 14:30
Location: La Stazione delle Biciclette, Corso Lodi 66, Milan
We’ll kick off the tour at 14:30 with a coffee at La Stazione delle Biciclette, our local partner bike store, before heading out to explore Milan’s design districts. Along the way, we’ll make 2–3 stops at selected Fuorisalone locations.
In the late afternoon, we’ll cycle back through some of Milan’s most iconic neighborhoods, such as Brera, Navigli, and Porta Venezia.
Get Together & Meet the Designers – from 19:00
Around 19:00, we’ll return to La Stazione delle Biciclette, where Davide Maggi will welcome us for an aperitivo, music, and a relaxed get-together.
The evening will feature a Meet the Designers session with Valentin Vodev, designer of the VELLO bike, offering insights into the thinking and design approach behind contemporary urban mobility from Vienna.
You’re also welcome to join just for the evening program, test VELLO bikes on site, and connect with fellow design enthusiasts.
Whether you're into design, cycling, or simply looking for a unique way to experience Milan, this tour is a great way to be part of Design Week.
Participation & Bikes
VELLO folding e-bikes will be available for testing during the tour. Spots are limited, so registration is required.
You’re also very welcome to join with your own bike.
