About this Event
Artist bios:
Headliner - Vidot. Bio: Vidot began in summer 2025 with a 1996 omnichord, evolving from solitary exploration into collaboration in Sunny’s living room with bass, strings by Miriam and Prairie, and operatic vocals with Reed. Blending retro synths and orchestral elements, Vidot explores darkness, grief, and transformation in dreamlike, liminal soundscapes.
Andy: Andy Zuliani is a media artist, writer, and a mostly terrestrial animal who lives and works in the colonial fiction known as “Vancouver.” His sound practice, which combines digital and analogue synthesis with hand-built instruments, is rooted in fieldwork and other forms of immersive collaboration.
Nightjars: Nightjars is the solo project of queer and trans singer-songwriter Adrian Matias Bell. With the kaleidoscopic song structure of Arthur Russell and the wry, raw lyric sensibilities of artists like Elliott Smith, Nightjars makes songs for the veil between this world and the next.
Michael Slumber: Michael Slumber is a local Vancouver instrumentalist. He writes atmospheric songs about modern troubled brains and the lost civilizations they belong to. For this solo performance, expect dark drones under a thundering drum and evil folk songs about werewolves.
