About this Event
In this class, you will learn some of the fundamentals of taking your video work to the next level. We will talk about the settings I use on my productions to get the most out of my cameras including recording options, frame rate, and great display settings. I will also go over some lighting techniques and composition principles to elevate your work. Lastly, I will show you some of the awesome techniques I use in post to create industry-standard cinematic videos.
Kevin Best - Panasonic
Kevin Best attended film school where he studied to become a cinematographer. After graduation, he found an interest in color grading and began a career as a freelance editor and colorist. In 2019, He started his own production company with a film school classmate called EarlyBird Films, which is now a multi-award-winning commercial production company. He has worked with clients such as Chick-Fil-A, Old Spice, and AARP. He also works part-time at Panasonic as a technical representative where he shares his vast knowledge of Lumix cameras. Kevin has used the GH5, GH6, S5, and S1H on many of his productions.
