About this Event
Did you know President and Mrs. Hayes started the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, which continues today? We will hear the history of the Easter Egg Roll in Washington D.C., and view our Easter Egg collection, the largest privately owned White House Easter Egg display. Using Victorian era springtime cards as inspiration, paint a small clay ornament. Participants will use acrylic markers on a premade clay shape. Shapes include ovals, butterflies, bees, and dogs. The ornament will be sealed with varnish or Mod Podge.
This event if free but donations to the Historical Society are greatly appreciated.
Please make sure the e-mail Eventbrite has for you is one you still use.
