About this Event
This will be a leisurely walk, visiting the Castle grounds, where you will see the Pleasure Gardens designed by the Borough Surveyor and Architect of the time, Henry Peak. You'll also see the home of Lewis Carroll, Holy Trinity Church - scene of the Guy Riots - and the main streets of the town centre, to view the important Victorian buildings which still remain.
The walk is about a half a mile long with regular stops, and about 90 minutes in duration. You should wear suitable clothing for the prevailing weather conditions.
