About the Book:

About the Author:
Victoria has worked as a medical technologist, laboratory instructor and physician assistant in Madison, Wisconsin for 35 years. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, her first job was as a lab instructor in the U.W. Medical School and then as a Med Tech in the University Hospital Blood Bank. She also taught medical assistant students at the Madison Technical College.
After returning to the U.W. to earn a degree as a physician assistant, she cared for patients in Family Practice and Urgent Care, and during her vacations, volunteered at clinics in Mexico and Guatemala.
After retiring, she fulfilled a lifelong dream and returned to the magical realism of Mexico. She spends the winters in the mountains of Michoacán, where Terralena was written.
