Hedgehog is a Manchester based quintet plumbing the depths of neurodivergent post-folk.
Listeners will spot the sounds of noise, free improvisation and children's music, hiding within the cracks of poetry and song.
Carefully excreted by saxophonist/singer/guitarist Louise Brown, talker/glockenspieler/guitar El Garrard, violinist/bassist Arthur Bickers, guitarist/pedal machine Flynn Mchardy and drummer/drummer James Hawdale.
They were looking for a Birmingham date for their mini-tour which will culminate in an event at OTO on April 24. And I was only too happy to help. There’s a link in the comments - to these ears it will be really up most of your strasses.
