Cultural Center “Our Texas” invites you to an unforgettable celebration of art, music, and community spirit on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at 2337 Bissonnet Street. Join us for “Vibrant Circles: Houston’s Community Canvas”, a live mural painting event that brings together artists, families, and neighbors to co-create a new chapter in the center’s public art legacy.This fun-filled afternoon will feature live painting, music, and interactive art experiences, all centered around a collaborative mural project that transforms the center’s walls into a vibrant visual story of peace, unity, and cultural diversity. Guests are invited to witness artists at work as they fill circular frames with images inspired by their unique backgrounds and dreams.
Bring your friends and family—there’s something for everyone! Enjoy the music, try ethnic food from our vendors, meet the artists, and see how creativity can bring people together. The original mural by Maksim Koloskov (2019) will evolve into a new community masterpiece with contributions from Houston’s talented and diverse creatives.
This event is free and open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to explore the mural-in-progress throughout the day.
