Instructor - Lee Collilouri
After earning her BFA in oil painting from Lesley University in 2014, Lee has collaborated with renowned artists and top fashion brands in NYC, refining her abstract style inspired by nature, society, and vibrant energy. Now based in Massachusetts, she’s energized by recent exhibitions and workshops and looks forward to exploring larger-scale works that celebrate color, pattern, and movement.
Class Description
This class will focus on the energizing methods of creating detailed shapes prints and patterns on the page. Allowing for your own flow and drawing practice while also getting some guidance tips and tricks to get through the creative process. The teaching artist will also bring in her own original work to use as a suggestive style/example! This class will be working with black and white as well as color to fill in the forms and shapes- almost like creating a page of your own color book!
Material Fee
The materials fee for this class is $10. This is separate from the ticket price and is to reimburse the instructor for any tools or materials used in this class. This will be paid once, directly to the instructor at the start of the first class meeting. This instructor accepts payments through Cash or Venmo.
Class Goals
- Being detail oriented (in a fun way)
- Drawing skills in pattern in black and white, then filling in with color
- A fun excited energizing vibrant drawing
- To have fun while also being organized and energized
