The VFW will host its Parade of Winners on March 3, 2025 at 6 p.m. EST and stream the event LIVE directly on our Facebook page and www.vfw.org/VFWDC2025.Every year, nearly 90,000 of our nation's youth compete in the VFW's Voice of Democracy and Patriot's Pen audio essay competitions for their chance to win a portion of nearly $2.4 million in college scholarships and awards. The competitions culminate live during the VFW’s annual Washington Conference in Washington, D.C., at the Parade of Winners ceremony, which is hosted and designed to celebrate and recognize the contests’ top national winners.
Join us as VFW and VFW Auxiliary state and national leadership, representatives from program sponsor Twisted X, and this year’s 53 Voice of Democracy Department (state) winners come together from all over the world as we crown the 2025 national Voice of Democracy first place winner.
