Our Sports and Fitness Program is searching for top-notch softball players to compete in the prestigious Battle of the Bases Softball Tournament! This thrilling event, presented by the Washington Nationals, brings together the best teams from military bases across the National Capital Region. Players will receive Nationals-branded jerseys and caps, and the championship game will be held at the iconic Nationals Park. Don’t miss this chance to showcase your skills and represent Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall in an unforgettable experience! The top 15 players to attend tryouts will be selected.Dates: March 3 - 5 | 5 - 7 p.m.
Location: Fort Myer Softball Field (Adjacent to Hatfield Gate)
Tryout Requirements:
- Must be an Active Duty Service Member and assigned or attached to Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall.
- Must be available for all games:
Preliminary tournament will be held at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in August, exact dates to be decided.
Championship games will be held at Nationals Park in September, exact dates to be decided.
