in observance of Veterans Day we will be placing approximately 12,000 graveside flags; one at each headstone, column of the Memorial Wall and Columbarium. Volunteers meet at Committal Shelter 3 for a brief flag placement ceremony to include, Fly-By, Prayer, National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, Wreath Laying, TAPS, Rifle Volley and moment of silence. As the ceremony concludes, family members will go first to place flags on their loved oneβs graves, followed by volunteers. Everyone is welcome to volunteer, so please join us and help to honor our fallen veterans. *Note: We encourage older volunteers to work in pairs with younger volunteers. Please observe traffic signs( Traffic will be one-way with parking on one side of the street) and follow instructions of Support Committee section leaders.
