“Teach one, reach one" is a concept and a call to action emphasizing the importance of sharing knowledge and skills with others, I.e our veteran community, fostering a cycle of learning and empowerment. It suggests that when someone learns something, they should then teach it to another person, and so on, creating a chain of learning and development. This idea is applied in various contexts, from educational settings to community outreach and personal development programs. We started 12 years ago just a few (4) veterans celebrating Veterans Day with a simple breakfast at Jimmy eggs. Over the years word got out and each year a veteran came and brought another and it pretty much took on a life of its own with over 2-300 in attendance. We have roll call on that day 6am,prayer, national anthem, cadence callers and guest speaker (10-20 min).Such a wonderful time. Each year the news paper and news team and Jimmy eggs look forward to serving veterans their free breakfast.
