Veteran Business Post-Expo Mixer
Twenty years ago Dr. Zacharias Johnson sat in a recruiter's chair and raised his right hand for the Texas Army National Guard. On April 2, 2026 he is bringing veterans into the room.
The H.A.B.I.T.S. Group is hosting the first ever Veteran Business Post-Expo Mixer from 3:00 to 5:30 PM at The Austonian, 55th Floor, 200 Congress Ave, Austin TX 78701. Full venue access begins at 2:30 PM. This is the perfect chance to connect with fellow veterans and business professionals, build serious relationships, and be part of a night dedicated entirely to supporting veteran-owned businesses. Good vibes, great conversations, and real opportunity. Come hang with us and let's make this one for the books.
This event follows the TxDMV 12th Annual Marketing for Success Expo, Spotlighting VetHUB and Small Businesses, held earlier that morning at the Barbara Jordan Building. Dr. Zacharias Johnson serves as a featured panelist and the only small business exhibitor at the expo. The mixer is the continuation of that conversation in a curated, professional setting. This room represents that pool. $4.1 billion in annual state procurement. Real access. Real relationships.
Attendees include VetHUB-certified businesses, state agency procurement officers, prime contractors, and SBA representatives. Government agencies are encouraged to attend and connect directly with certified veteran-owned vendors capable of meeting your procurement needs. Space is limited and priority is given to government agencies, veteran-owned firms, and VetHUB-certified businesses.
