The solo exhibition “VESSELS” examines the socio-psychological architecture of inherited pessimism.
Through a series of large-scale works on MDF, the artist interrogates the “Shadow Inheritance”, the silent transmission of restraint, fear, and cognitive frameworks passed down through generations. In this body of work, the human figure is reimagined as a container for collective history, exploring the exact tension where the individual ceases to be a passive vessel for external anxieties and begins to define their own luminosity.
Within the atmosphere of the exhibition, dreams are measured by the “horizon of the floorboards” and caution is often mistaken for wisdom. “VESSELS” documents the subtle ways resignation becomes contagious, passed from hand to hand like a relic. However, the work serves as more than a portrait of inherited defeat; it is a formal act of dissent. By transforming abstract anxieties into tangible forms, the artist occupies the space between the weight we carry and the light we claim. To be a vessel in this contemporary environment is to go through a world of shadows, yet the exhibition holds open a mode of resistance, an assertion that the capacity for light is an inherent equity, not a privilege of birth.
