Feeling Lucky? Join us for A Very Superstitious Poetry Slam on Friday the 13th (of March) 6:30 - 8:30 pm in our main gallery.
Doors open at 6: Come check out the shows, grab some snacks, sign up to read your poetry and/or join the slam, sign up to be a judge or just find a seat to enjoy the performances.
Poetry Slam:
- Welcome and Featured Poet
- Open Call: Poets can share a poem of their choosing (open to everyone)
- Slam Round 1: Competing poets present one of their original poems and are scored by the panel of judges from the audience
- Intermission
- Slam Round 2: Competing poets present their 2nd original poem and are scored by the panel of judges from the audience
- Wrap Up and Awards
Poems should be no longer than 3 minutes
Points are awarded on content, style and overall performance
Donation based refreshments available or bring your own
