Celebrate Michigan Wine Month with a weekend devoted to the wines of Verterra Winery, our new partner for this annual event, and one of Leelanau Peninsula's most celebrated producers. Join co-owner and vintner Paul Hamelin for two guided tastings and a chef-crafted paired dinner, where each course is thoughtfully designed around the wine.

Friday, May 1 | 5-7pm
Bubbly Welcome Reception
Begin the weekend with a lakeside reception centered on Verterra's acclaimed sparkling portfolio — poured and presented by vintner Paul himself. Light bites served alongside.

Saturday, May 2 | 3pm
Educational Wine Tasting
An guided tasting led by Paul, exploring Verterra's whites and rosés — the most award-decorated in the state. Cool-climate varietals, French-style dry rosés, and the first Michigan wine in history to win Best in Show at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.

Saturday, May 2 | 6pm
'Wine First' Paired Dinner
The weekend's centerpiece: a wine-first dinner where each course is composed by our Executive Chef in harmony with Verterra's distinguished selections.
