Verona Quartet with Steven Banks, Saxophone

The Verona Quartet is an “outstanding ensemble…cohesive yet full of temperament” (The New York Times). “Steven Banks — the saxophone’s best friend, fiercest advocate and primary virtuoso in the classical realm. Banks’s mastery is merely his starting point, his artistry springs from the ease and visible delight he takes in moving between modes” (The Washington Post).
Performing works by Albert Hay Malotte, Felix Mendelssohn, Claude Debussy, Leoš Janáček, Mozart, Steven Banks, Reena Esmail and Christopher Theofanidis.
Tickets are $35/adults and $10/students.
The concert is followed by a reception where you can meet the artists. All are encouraged to attend.
