Join Linden Rayton, Naturalist & Owner of Living Water Nature Programs to explore seasonal pools formed in an old riverbed of the Contoocook River, where life bursts into motion each spring. From a boardwalk with ideal viewing spots, observe wood frog tadpoles, salamander egg masses, swimming fairy shrimp, and more. Learn about the unique adaptations that allow these organisms to thrive in temporary waters and explore safe, respectful ways to engage students with vernal pool life in classrooms and programs. Space is limited to 20 participants.Participants will earn 2 hours of professional development.
